Storing my blendabilities....

This is a challenge for me.
Where to store them? How to store them?
Must be lying down...but they take up so much space!

I am also not completely organized in my new craft space so that makes it even more of challenge.

WELL, I think I have found a solution!  :-)
I had some extra wood mount stamp cases...

Some left over Christmas coloured elastic ribbon...

Add to that my scissors, crop-a-dile, paper piercer, jewelry making pliers and VOILA!

I have three cases full of blendabilities!!

First I used the crop-a-dile to punch holes in the sides of the case, two on each side.

Then on the spine of the case I used my paper piercer to mark four holes, two at one end, two at the other.  Once I marked and made small holes I used these jewelry pliers to make the holes big enough to push my elastic ribbon through.  It was all I had on hand that would work!! LOL

You want all of your holes to line up so that your elastic that goes on looks like this.

Double or triple knot all your ends so that they won't pull through the holes in your case.

They are all together, not rolling around everywhere.  They are lying down so they stay inked and they are easy to grab and use when needed.
*sigh*  works for me!!!

Try your own!
Happy Organizing!

Sideways Wristerz

Another knitting project!!
These are keeping me nice and toasty!

Sometimes mitts are too much but it is too cold not to have ANYTHING on your hands.

I came across this pattern on Ravelry and it was a quick one evening knit.  LOVE LOVE LOVE the yarn too!  I lost my label or I would tell you all about it.  :-(

Happy Knittin'!

Hats off to you!

Masculine cards.  I always have requests for "man cards" or ideas/stamp sets that will work well for them.
There never seem to be enough options to create them.
Well here's your chance!!
Get your hands on GUY GREETINGS!!

Ahoy Matey!!

I must be honest.

I have not had time to PLAY in my stamp room in a long time.  Fall 2014 was chock full of life throwing whatever it could at us.  We had a move and settling into a "new"craft room can be a challenge.  I find that it can take time to get your mojo back.

Well, 2015 has been as eventful as ever, and I find myself working in my craft room as I am running a busy part time Stampin' Up! business but I haven't been playing.  Just crafting for the sake of crafting....I miss it!

So late last week and over the weekend I MADE time to play.  Just play.  Me, my paper, stamps and of course some chocolate.  I had FUN!

Here is one of the projects that came out of my craft room last week.  I hope you enjoy it.
You can find all the supplies for these two cards at the bottom of the post.

Make time to play! Happy Stampin'!

You Little Furball!!

I am so happy that I have this stamp set in my stash.  You Little Furball is a FUN set to play with!!   I am a cat lover so of course this was a "must have" from the Idea Book and Catalogue.

Here is a cute, and easy, card that I put together the other night.

Stamping this one in black reminded me of one of our cats, Night Fury (Fury for short!)

Happy Stampin'!!
See below for a full list of supplies used on this card.

Sponge Dauber Storage

I have had this picture of sponge dauber storage for a while. I found it on pinterest a while back. I recently posted it on my upline's Facebook group and found out that there are cases that you can buyfor your dauber storage.  How cool is that??  Learned something new!

I have just ordered my first packs of daubers so I am interested in finding a way to store them properly.  However, instead of just going out and buying something I am always up for coming up with creative ways to organize using items I already own.

Can you believe that I can across a pin on Pinterest (when I wasn't looking for it!) that shows you how to make your own storage case??!!

The tutorial mentioned that you would need a wood mount stamp case, card stock, scissors and a ruler.

I have a bunch of cases already.  I cut a front page and stamped it up.  :-)  Then I hit the tutorial and made my case inserts.  It was a tad time consuming but considering I had all the supplies I needed I was very happy with the result.  Great instructions and easy to follow.  I now have a case for my daubers before they have even arrived!  LOL

Card stock on top is ready to dab with each ink and write the initals of the colour on top.  I will also use my handy dandy label maker (love that thing!!) to label each dauber when they come in.

Bottom part is a grid with enough room for each dauber

Happy stampin'!
